A Day Without The iPhone
Yesterday was my first day without my iPhone. I left the house without it and was running too late for work to U-turn for it. While I had often wondered what a day without the iPhone would be like, I have never mustered the courage to leave it at home on purpose.
Well at first I felt liberated because I did not have this appendage to keep up with. But that feeling did not last long and was quickly replaced with a feeling of debilitating ineptitude as I was not able to jot down my thoughts, google for information, read email, write poetry and prose or communicate with my sweetie.
Of course, I could do all of those things 'later' but having my 'appendage' gives me the instant access to information and communication that makes me feel productive. Even though my productivity is my own self delusion, it is my dream and I shall interpret it as I will.
While I survived the day, I do not think I will leave my appendage at home, on purpose, anytime soon.-EWJJr
